I have seen a few of the wedding cards with the boys and girls name
having 'Chi' infront of them, which I know means Chiranjeevi.....my
question is that I have seen 'Ry' as well in front of the boy's name

Chi. Ry. means Chiranjeevi Rajeshwari (very Spock-ish "live long and
prosper" kind of thing :-)). I believe it might be very specific to
Karnataka. I have not encountered this in any other states.
